Turner announces CFO, COO finalists

— Clayton County Commission Chairman Jeff Turner revealed the names of five people who are finalists for the county’s new chief financial officer and chief operating officer positions this week.

Carl Anderson, vice-president of Owings Mills, Md.-based Procurement Management Resources, and former Clayton County Public Schools and Atlanta Public Schools budget director Ramona Thurman were announced by Turner as finalists for the chief financial officer position.

The chairman also announced the state of Louisiana's director of south Louisiana, Anthony Brister, Washington D.C.-based Chandlerson Strategic Management owner Arrelle Anderson and Marc-Antoine Cooper from the state's Community Health Department are the finalists for the chief operating officer position.

Information about where the finalists are currently working was not immediately available this week.

I'm curious to find out if any of the finalists actually live in the county, and if so, how long they have lived here. Copies of their CVs would be nice to see as well. Not so that we can second guess Mr. Turner and the rest of the BOC, but rather so we can know who we will be deaaling with going forward.
