Clayton County residents graduate from MARTA Citizens Police Academy

Several Clayton County residents were among 14 completing a nine-week MARTA Citizens Police Academy, a program that gives employees and customers first-hand information about how the department works and how participants can help keep MARTA safe. Participants receiving certificates included a diverse mix of MARTA employees, MATC employees, college students and family members. As of May 14, more than 282 participants have graduated from the academy. This class includes Darrin Clinton of Stone Mountain, Mohamad “Mo” Madani of Norcross, Tamba Marah Sr. of Tucker, Deirdre F. Lyons-Gary of Decatur, Amanda Gilbert of Ellenwood, Raymond Rogers of Decatur, Qutinos Gray of Riverdale, LeJun Huntley of Norcross, Rosy Kolb of Atlanta, Ken Farley of Ellenwood and Larry W. Blaine of Decatur. Graduates not pictured are Vanessa Clinton of Stone Mountain, Miriam D. Taylor of Decatur and Constance Williams of Decatur.
