Few spots remain for Arts Clayton camp

— Clayton County parents who want to sign up their children for Arts Clayton’s Kaleidoscope Summer Arts Camp have little time to waste if they want to get their budding Picassos in the door.

Friday at 5 p.m. is the registration deadline for the camp, which is designed for elementary school children through rising sixth-graders. Camp Administrator Elizabeth Gower said there are 20 spots for fourth-, fifth- and sixth-grade students. She said the Young Teen Camp is already full and registrations for it are no longer being taken.

Gower pointed out the remaining spots are for camp classes that have not already filled up. Some classes, such as pottery, are already filled while space was still available Wednesday in one of the drawing classes. Parents are asked to call Gower at 770-473-5775 to discuss the available classes.

The camp begins Monday at James A. Jackson Elementary School in Jonesboro. Registration is $195 per child with a $20 discount for siblings.

....If the supply of these classes are in demand : Why advertise this, so late in the game ?

....Sounds like a "Last Chance Sale" to me.
