Rosaline Powell Alexander, 76, of Forest Park, formerly of Tifton, died Tuesday, May 28, 2013, at her residence. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 31, in the Chapel of the First Baptist Church in Jonesboro. The family will receive friends Friday, May 31, from 10 a.m. until the hour of the memorial service at the church.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, June 2, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Bob Payne will officiate with burial to follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery. Martin Alexander, Ray Flowers, Denzil Harrell, Donnie Harrell, Rodney Harrell and Roy Kitchens will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends Saturday, June 1, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.

Mrs. Alexander was born March 12, 1937, in Worth County and was the daughter of Havard Powell and Etheleen Hancock Powell, both deceased. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Royce "Bo" Alexander, who died in 2004; one grandson, Martin W. Alexander Jr.; and two sisters. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church in Jonesboro.

Mrs. Alexander is survived by one son, Martin W. "Marty" Alexander Sr. of San Antonio, Texas; one daughter and son-in- law, Kay and Ray Flowers of Jonesboro; three granddaughters, Kerri Flowers, Andrea Flowers and Angie Alexander Morey; three great-grandchildren and 10 brothers and sisters.
