Daylight Saving Time ends Sunday and clocks fall back at 2 a.m.

McDONOUGH — Don’t forget to fall back Sunday or you might be a little late to work Monday.

Daylight Saving Time ends Sunday at 2 a.m., and people can look forward to an extra hour as clocks fall back to 1 a.m. This change puts the country back on Standard Time.

The main purpose of Daylight Saving Time is to make better use of daylight by changing clocks during the summer months to move an hour of daylight from the morning to the evening.

Most of the United States begins Daylight Saving Time at 2 a.m. on the second Sunday in March and reverts to standard time on the first Sunday in November.
