Mr. Bobby Ray Avery

Mr. Bobby Ray Avery, age 74 of Jonesboro, passed away, Nov. 18, 2013. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Darlene Jones, and grandson, Cody Farmer. He is survived by his wife, Juanita; son, Randy Jones of Jonesboro; brother, Jim (Sylvia) Avery of Griffin; sister, Pat (Leroy) Mitchell of Locust Grove; many nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews, and several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. Funeral services will be held, Thursday, Nov. 21, 2013, at 6 p.m. in the chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home. Dr. William Lacy will officiate. Tobias “Toby” Daniel Kell, age 29 days old, passed away, Nov. 16, 2013. He is survived by his parents, Daniel Michael and Bridget Barrett Kell of Jonesboro, Ga.; brother, Jackson Michael Kell; grandparents, Buddy and Susan Kell of Sharpsburg, Ga., Clifford and Sandy Barrett of Princeton, Ind.; great grandparents, Gaylord “Max” Maxwell, Margaret Bosley (Paul) McGiveney; aunts and uncles, Ben (Leslie) Kell, Beth (Thad) Carson, Mandy (Chris) Ritchhart, Tyler Barrett; cousins, Lydia, Noah, Micah and Mason.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 23, 2013, at First Baptist Church of Jonesboro Chapel. Rev. David Meade will officiate. Interment will be at Camp Memorial Park, Fayetteville, Ga. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Julius Bigelow Trimble Jr. (Buddy)

Julius Bigelow Trimble Jr. (Buddy) passed away Nov. 19, 2013, at the age of 85. He was the longest living member of Riverdale First Baptist Church, his family having moved to Riverdale in 1939. After graduating in 1948 from Jonesboro High School, he spent most of his life working on the family farm in Riverdale.

Survivors include his siblings, sister, Ruth Trimble Camp, of Jonesboro, brothers, John (Jane) Trimble of Riverdale, Jim (Barbara) Trimble of Riverdale, Jack Trimble of Jonesboro and Joe (Jeri) Trimble of Carrollton. Buddy will be remembered as one of the sweetest, most honest and well disciplined individuals by all who knew him. Services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. from the First Baptist Church of Riverdale with the Pastor Jeff Lowe officiating. The family will receive friends at Ford Stewart Funeral Home in Jonesboro, Wednesday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Interment will be at Pleasant Grove Methodist Church Cemetery in Riverdale, Ga.
