Mrs. Isabell Booth McCullough,
Mrs. Isabell Booth McCullough, age 94 was born on Nov. 20, 1919 in Walton County, Ga., passed away Nov. 22, 2013. Her parents were Roy, Sr. and Leacy Connor Booth. She graduated from Grayson High School in 1936. She later attended Marsh Business School. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Jewel Palmer and Blanche Bailey; brothers, Harold and Roy Booth, Jr. She married Benjamin Hudson “Hut” McCullough, whom passed away in 2006 after 58 years of marriage. Mrs. McCullough worked many years as a secretary/bookkeeper and ten years as an Insurance Agent. She was a member of Jonesboro First United Methodist Church for over 50 years where she taught Sunday School, member of Altar Guild, United Methodist Women and served on various committees. She was also a volunteer for Meals on Wheels for 17 years. She is survived by her son and daughter- in-law, Dr. Bob and Carol McCullough of Fayetteville, daughter and son- in-law, Joy and Randy Cobb of Jonesboro; grandchildren, Ben McCullough, Steve McCullough and Elyse Cobb, nieces, nephews and cousins. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m., Sunday, November 24, 2013 at Jonesboro First United Methodist Church, 142 South Main St., Jonesboro, GA 30236. The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to and after the service at the church. A private burial will be held. In lieu of flowers make contributions to the church. Margie Ann Robertson
Mrs. Margie Ann Robertson, 64, of Jonesboro, Ga. passed away at her home on Nov. 19, 2013. She is survived by her sister, Peggy Ann Parrott, her son Robert Robertson, her daughters Michelle Norman and Kathleen Robertson, her grandsons Bryant and Patrick Robertson, and her granddaughters Dorchelle Norman and Kaitlyn Robertson.
Mrs. Robertson was the owner/operator of Margie’s Rabbit Tree for many years in Jonesboro. She raised and sold rabbits of all kinds, and would foster bunnies for people who could no longer care for theirs. Mrs. Robertson will be interred at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, Ga. along with her husband of 41 years, Mr. Wilton B. Robertson, who preceded her in death last year.
