Mrs. Louise Brown
Mrs. Louise “Lou” Pike Brown, 71, of LaGrange, passed away peacefully Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2013 at Hospice LaGrange.
Born Jan. 30, 1942 in Hogansville, Mrs. Brown was the daughter of the late Lewis and Ada Brazell Pike. A resident of Forest Park until 1987, Mrs. Brown owned and operated Lou’s Coiffeurs on Main Street in Forest Park and was a member of Hogansville Church of God.
Survivors include her daughters, Syretha Gardner and her husband, Jerry, of Hogansville, Deneen Denney-Oechsle and her husband, Dennis, of Stockbridge; sisters, Beula Smith of Douglasville, Carolyn Perkins of LaGrange; brother, Bill Pike of Albany; and four grandchildren, Tuesday and Riley Gardner and Dekota and Devyn Denney-Oechsle.
A memorial service will be 2 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 29, at Hogansville Church of God with Rev. Randall Hodge and Rev. Lonnie Bennett officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. Sunday afternoon.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hogansville Church of God.
