Morning Out

Panola Mountain State Park is hosting a Photographers and Artists Morning Out April 19 from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. at the park. Cost is $10, plus $5 to park. Photographers and artists will have access to restricted areas of the park to draw, paint or photograph Panola Mountain. A ranger with an art background will be on hand as a guide. Easter Egg Hunt

College Park is hosting an Easter Egg hunt April 19 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. for children ages 6-12 at Richard D. Zupp Jr. Park, 1622 Hawthorne Ave., in College Park. Special eggs will be hidden for special gifts. For more information, call 404-669-9206.

Easter Egg Hunt

Riverdale is hosting the Mayor’s Easter Egg Hunt April 19 from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. for children ages 2-10. Bring an Easter basket. There will also be photos with the Easter Bunny. Admission is free.

“He Said, She Said”

The Riverdale Centre Players present its spring production of “He Said, She Said,” April 25 at the Riverdale Centre for the Arts, Business & Leisure, 7210 Church Street in Riverdale. Run for the Rainbow

Rainbow House is hosting a Run for the Rainbow Run/Walk 5k and 1 miles walk May 10 at 9 a.m. at Nash Farm Battlefield, 4361 Jonesboro Road in Hampton. Lunch is included for all race participants from Carrabba’s Italian Grill. Cost is $30 for 5k and $15 for the one mile race. Advance registration ends May 7. Runners can register the day of the race for $35 for the 5k and $20 for the one mile. Event is open to all runners and walkers of all levels. HATtitude Mother’s Day Brunch Jazz Brunch

Two by Two Thrift Shop

The Clayton County Humane Society’s Two by Two Thrift Shop is open Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. at 150 N. McDonough Street in Jonesboro. Donations are accepted. All money raised goes to benefit the humane society.
