JONESBORO — Clayton County police have charged one man with murder and are looking for a second in connection with a shooting Thursday in Riverdale.
Police filed charges of murder, aggravated assault and aggravated battery against Todd Nicholas Welch but he is not in custody in Clayton County. Police issued an alert for Welch Wednesday afternoon.
Police allege he fired multiple times from a .40-caliber semi-automatic handgun, killing Christopher Brown and injuring Darrell Agee Jr.
A second man is also wanted in relation to the shooting on Radford Drive. Police described the subject as a light-skinned black male with multiple facial freckles, mid to late 20s, tall and slender with multiple tattoos.
The two subjects reportedly fled the scene in a black Infiniti SUV.
