Florida man indicted in pizza, wings theft

JONESBORO — A Florida man held in Clayton County Jail has been indicted in the July alleged theft of pizza, wings and cash.

Maximilliam Xavier Mack, 31, of Palatka, Fla. was indicted Wednesday for armed robbery, two counts of aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.

Prosecutors allege Mack robbed a Domino’s Pizza delivery man of pizza, chicken wings and cash at gunpoint July 31.

Three months before the alleged crime, Mack was in Clayton County State Court pleading no contest to simple battery under the Family Violence Act. He was sentenced to serve nine days in jail followed by 11 months and 21 days on probation, in addition to other requirements.

Prosecutors said he violated his probation and fled to Florida where he was found in September.

In other indictments:

• Imanni Elizabeth English faces charges of aggravated assault in an alleged attack involving an iron July 3.

Prosecutors said other charges include third-degree child cruelty, Family Violence Act aggravated assault and battery and simple battery.

• Keely Vandall Osborne was indicted for shoplifting more than $500 in items from Walmart on July 9.

• Andrew Dean Allen, 48, of Riverdale is being held in Clayton County Jail on a shoplifting charge from Nov. 18, 2012. Court documents show Allen has previous convictions of shoplifting.

• Leon Crosby Adams IV was indicted for possession of an illegal weapon. Prosecutors said he had a sawed-off shotgun when he was arrested July 29.

• Matthew John Jarrard was indicted on five counts of terroristic threats involving two victims Sept. 9, according to indictments.

• Fredrick Jamain Reese, 28, of College Park was indicted in the burglary of Hot Cafe on Ga. Highway 139 in College Park in August 2011. Reese is being held in Clayton County Jail.

• Cruz Natanel Canoflores, 19, of Ellenwood is being held in Clayton County Jail on multiple charges of statutory rape and child molestation involving one alleged victim. Prosecutors said he had inappropriate physical relations with an underage girl from April to September.

• Valentino Benny Rivera was indicted for first-degree burglary, interference with government property, giving false information and criminal trespass in an alleged July 16 incident.

• A Forest Park man who has spent five terms in Georgia state prisons for theft and methamphetamine convictions was indicted for escape.

Sanders Eugene Sapp Jr., 45, allegedly escaped from Clayton County Transitional Center May 20 in the middle of his most recent imprisonment.

All defendants should be considered innocent until proven guilty.
