George Ralph Kelly

George Ralph Kelly, age 88, of Jonesboro, GA, passed away peacefully Friday, January 17, 2014. Ralph was born June 30, 1925, to Elizabeth and George Kelly in Elmore County, AL. Ralph was a member of Philadelphia Presbyterian Church and a 50-year member with Forest Park Masonic Lodge. He was a motorcycle patrolman, retired from Complete Auto Transit and served as a bailiff with the Clayton County Courthouse. He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Jannie Kelly, and survived by his sister, Evelyn Headley, his daughters, Marjorie (Doug) Vandiver, Karen (Howard) Nelson, Jan (Bill) Wright and Pam (Bob) Trigiano, nine loving grandchildren, their spouses, one great grandchild, numerous nieces and nephews and many close friends. Funeral services were held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, January 21, 2014, in the chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home, Jonesboro, GA, with interment at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens. Peggy Sue Robbins

Mrs. Peggy Sue Cowart Robbins of Riverdale, GA, died Friday, January 17, 2014, at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta. Funeral services will be Sunday, January 19, 2014, at 2:00 PM at Colquitt First Baptist Church Chapel with Rev. Jack C. Cowart officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, January 19, 2014, from 1:00-2:00 PM at Colquitt First Baptist Church Chapel. Interment will follow at Colquitt City Cemetery with military honors.

Mrs. Robbins was of the baptist faith. She served in the US Army and was an accounting technician with the US Federal Government.

She is survived by two sons, Norman Thomas (Debra) Crowell of Powder Springs, GA, and Rodney (Becky) Crowell of Collierville, TN; one daughter, Deborah Compton of Riverdale, GA; five grandchildren, Travis Crowell, Zachary Crowell, Nathan Crowell, Jessie Crowell, and Brian Compton; five great grandchildren; and one sister, Lunette Cowart Hall of Tallahassee, FL. Mrs. Robbins was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Lucille Cowart; and three brothers, James A. Cowart, Horace Cowart, and Fred Cowart, Jr.
