REX — The Christian Life Center is participating in the Summer Food Service Program, where meals will be provided to all eligible children at no charge.
To be eligible to receive free meals at a residential camp, children must meet income requirements for reduced-price meals in the National School Lunch Program.
Children who are part of households that receive foods stamps or benefits under the Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations or Temporary Assistance to Needy Families are automatically eligible to receive free meals.
Acceptance and participation requirements for the program and all activities are the same for all regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability, and there will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service.
This year’s local food service site is at 3406 Rex Road in Rex. Meals will be available during the center’s summer enrichment camp, from 7 a.m. until 8:15 a.m., from 9:30 a.m. until 10 a.m. and from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m., through Aug. 1.
There will also be supper during vacation bible school, from 6:30 p.m. until 8 p.m., June 9-13. Learn more about the center at www.clcofatlanta.org.
