East Point felon indicted in ‘09 shooting

JONESBORO — An East Point felon was indicted this week in the 2009 shooting death of a man during a possible drug deal.

Police said Onterio Perez Dorsey, 30, of Forest Park was found dead June 20, 2009, at a Conley Road townhouse complex. Clayton County police said the shooting happened during a “drug deal gone bad.”

Davious Letron Taylor, 31, faces malice murder and multiple felony murder charges in the shooting. Taylor was also indicted on aggravated assault and armed robbery charges.

He is being held in Clayton County Jail.

A Fairburn man who spent 10 years in prison for armed robbery and aggravated assault has been indicted in the shooting of his father. Shaun Andrew Gant, 34, is charged with aggravated assault in the Nov. 25 shooting of Louis Gant. Shaun Gant was released from prison in December 2011.

A Riverdale man is being held in Clayton County Jail charged with letting his dog attack two children, according to indictments. Harry Paul Harris, 67, faces charges of criminal trespass, aggravated assault, terroristic threats and two counts of second degree child cruelty.

Rondall Ellis Madison Jr., 29, was indicted on two counts each of first degree child cruelty and battery under Family Violence Act, simple battery and simple battery under Family Violence Act.

Police allege he beat his child in April 2013.

Arielle Erin Dublin is charged with aggravated assault, aggravated battery and disorderly conduct in the Sept. 12 alleged attack on Breneesha Jones.

Police said Dublin stabbed Jones repeatedly with a razor blade.

Phillip Emanuel Richards faces multiple child sex charges. Police said he molested a child March 8. He was indicted on charges of aggravated child molestation, aggravated sodomy and child molestation.

Chiquita Victoria Stokeling was indicted for lying to police that her car was hijacked June 30, 2012. She faces charges of false statement and false report of a crime.

All defendants should be considered innocent until proven guilty.
