North Clayton coach Martisse Troup will serve as assistant head coach while Curt Miller of Ola will also be a part of the staff. Two weeks ago, Miller announced he was resigning as the Mustangs coach to spend more time with his family.
Maehlman lead the Cardinals to their first basketball title in school history, and only the second boy’s title in Clayton County history.

The South senior squad will include Tift County teammates Demarcus Bryant and LaDarius Stewart, who led the Blue Devils to the Class AAAAAA title. It was the first title that a non-metro Atlanta area team won the state title in the state’s highest classification in 15 seasons.
Drew senior Lakiah Sims will play for the Senior squad squad in the girl’s all-star game, which will be coached by Forest Park coach Steven Cole. He will be assisted by Jimmy Macon from his staff and Jonesboro coach Lamar Harris.
