— About 200 people camped out on the Lee Street Park field for a few hours Saturday night to listen to sounds of jazz.

The City of Jonesboro held its third annual Jazz Under the Stars concert this weekend. While the crowd was smaller this year, the lineup wasn't. It included performances by Clayton County Fine Arts Magnet High School students, Riverdale High School students, Xavier Scott and his band and Baatin and Top Secret.

Attendees ranged from infants and small children to grandparents. The event was part of the Atlanta Jazz Festival's 31 Days of Jazz program.

The concert lasted for nearly four hours with a handful of attendees staying until the last song was played. Stay tuned to news-daily.com and Clayton News Daily for additional coverage of the concert.
