Front Porch Players change June 8 ‘Miracle Worker’ show time

JONESBORO — One of the performances of The Front Porch Players’ production of “The Miracle Worker” will experience a slight time shift, the acting troupe has announced.

The group will now perform its June 8 show as a matinee at 2:30 p.m., said Front Porch Players spokeswoman Jean Peacock. The show had previously been scheduled as a night-time performance. It will still be performed at First Presbyterian Church of Jonesboro, 1842 Lake Jodeco Road in Jonesboro.

The change does not affect the shows scheduled for Friday, Saturday, Sunday and June 6-7. The performances set for Friday, Saturday and June 6-7 remain set for 8 p.m. Sunday’s show time remains 7:30 p.m.

“The Miracle Worker” focuses on the life and work of famed deaf and blind teacher Helen Keller.
