Chip is a six-month-old Chihuahua mix. He has been neutered and all vaccinations are current. Chip was found by an Animal Control officer sitting all alone in the middle of someone's driveway. After checking the neighboring homes to see if this little angel belonged to anyone, and no one claiming the little guy, the officer placed Chip in her shirt pocket and took him in to Animal Control. After several days at Animal Control, and still no one coming in to claim him, officers asked the Clayton County Humane Society to save this little guy's life. This was the beginning of little Chip being introduced to a life of unchecked pampering and being absolutely spoiled rotten by the Humane Society staff. Amazingly, several months later, little Chip is still at the Humane Society, waiting for the right home and family to adopt him. He is extremely sweet, and he is very, very active and playful. He really enjoys playing with other small dogs at the shelter. Because of his small size, the Humane Society is looking for a home without small children. For more information, call the Clayton County Humane Society at (770) 471-9436.
