Special Photo: A young girl, helped Henry County Sheriff’s deputies, last year, arrange fruit bags for sale. The deputies are now pre-selling fruit bags and baskets as a fund-raiser, for their 2011 “Shop with a Deputy” program, to benefit county children.

Fund-raiser boosts ‘Shop With A Deputy’ effort
Tangelos, oranges and grapefruits are sold, annually, by athletic booster clubs and church groups as the holiday season begins. In Henry County, the Sheriff’s Office has adopted the approach to generate funds to support its “Shop with a Deputy” Christmas program.
