Lake City officials have set up a 58-foot-tall Christmas tree, on the lawn of the city’s municipal hall, as part of its annual holiday display. The city has scheduled a tree-lighting celebration for Nov. 19.

While the Halloween candy is still being finished up in some households, and Thanksgiving is still two weeks away, the signs of Christmas are already starting to appear in Clayton County.
