For years now, I’ve been a creature of habit. I’ve grown accustomed to doing things a certain way, and rarely do I ever voluntarily stray from my routines. But, recent events have reminded me that, sometimes, shaking up my sense of normalcy is exactly what I need.

Now, however, female lead characters are the ones who appear to be strong and in control, while men are depicted as buffoons. What once was called “Father Knows Best” has turned into “father knows nothing.”
