Residents wanted Lovejoy name, got Wole Ralph instead
Commissioners unanimously voted to override recommendations from citizens for the new center and name it after Commission Vice-Chairman Wole Ralph Tuesday.
Clayton County Board of Commissioners Vice-Chairman Wole Ralph was in Washington D.C. this week, participating in Georgia Chamber of Commerce meetings with national legislators, the county has announced. He is, in addition to being a county official, also one of more than 300 members of the Georgia Chamber of Commerce's Board of Directors, according to the chamber's web site, www.gachamber.com/.
