Fire department promotes 54 firefighters
The fire department recognized 54 firefighters and paramedics who were promoted to the ranks of sergeant, TAD sergeant, lieutenant, TAD lieutenant, TAD captain and TAD battalion chief at the Clayton County Performing Arts Wanting to give promotions a bit more pomp and circumstance, Clayton County Fire and Emergency Services tried something different Friday and held its first formal promotions ceremony.
