Former Clayton News Daily education reporter Jacqueline Holness' book, entitled, “After the Altar Call: The Sisters’ Guide to Developing a Personal Relationship With God,” elaborates on a variety of issues some black women face, such as being married three times, being a famous Christian, or leaving the Jehovah’s Witnesses faith for mainstream Christianity.
