Collar scarves for cats and dogs were some of the items on sale at Quilts and Fixins' annual Clayton County Humane Society Quilt Sale fund-raiser. People can still buy items left over from the sale at the Jonesboro-based store.

The eighth annual quilt sale turned out to be a boon for the local Humane Society, as it netted approximately $13,000, which will be given to the Jonesboro-based animal adoption to help cover its operating expenses.
