The National Museum of Commercial Aviation has 8,000 pieces of aviation memorabilia in its collection. Museum officials said they are planning to kick-off a capital campaign to raise $2 million for construction of a new facility, during the museum’s Annual Gala on June 23.

Officials at the National Museum of Commercial Aviation are projecting that attendance at the little museum tucked away in a Forest Park shopping center will — pardon the pun — take flight this year.
