A broken gate at one of the “Olde Towne Morrow” houses is symbolic of vandalism found around the development site. City officials spent $13 million in taxpayer funds from 2007 until 2009 to build the development, which has been shuttered since 2010.

Morrow police have filed three reports of property destruction at Olde Towne Morrow in the last 14 months and they were expected to file a fourth report Thursday after Clayton News Daily discovered severe damage at the property this week.
‘Olde Towne’ trashed by vandals
A $13 million taxpayer-funded commercial development that was suppossed to draw tourists and shoppers to Morrow is instead attracting vandals and falling into ruin.
