Life without parole, and he should have to share a cell with bubba, and the guards should look the other way.

As a CPA who has been involved with forensic audits in the past, I can assure you there would be no leaks of any of the findings by tthe audit firm. My feeling is that the auditors should be given the authority to look at whatever information they seek from the county government without explanation. When they have completed their work, the report should be presented to the full BOC at an open meeting with the DA in attendance. That way, when the findings are released there can be no charges of leaking information or cherry picking where it is to be shared.

Michael 1 year, 2 months ago on Atlanta-Savannah rail revived again?

Robert, they may buy you out after they declare your property to be a blight and eyesore. Further, they will take your property under eminent domain, and even the SCOTUS has declared that you don't have many rights to challenge it.

I fear that we won't have any say in this money grab by the politicians. What really confuses me is that the politicians say we the taxpayers are greedy because we want to keep what we have worked for and earned.

Michael 1 year, 2 months ago on Atlanta-Savannah rail revived again?

Can anyone show me a rapid rail system that has ever been self sustaining, or profitable? It just ain't there. Stick his high speed rail line into the dust bin of really stupid ideas our legislator in the gold dome have come up with.

Robert, I have a Masters from GSU, and I grew up and was educated by the Kansas school system. (Graduated from HS in '65) I don't think I could have passed that exam.

Why doesn't it surprise me that Walking Small would hire deputies with legal, and, or moral issues?

I had not heard of this restaurant before reading this article. But, you can bet your bippy that I will find it and try it. If the Waldens and the Hawkins have been eating there as regularly and as long as this article says, the food has to be really good, or they are really easily pleased. I will see y'all there soon.

Michael 1 year, 3 months ago on Kimbrough keeps options open

OscarKnight, I did not vote for Kimbrough the first time around, and did the write in thing in the General election. Is Kimbrough the best person to fill the Sheriff's position? Probably not, but, he hasn't been indicted on 37 counts, and he was the only alternative to Walking Small on the ballot.

If you know a better candidate, let us know who that might be, and what makes him/her better. Then convince that person to run, and endure the slings and arrows of a dirty campaign.

“one male — African-American — age 20 to 55” and “one female — African-American — age 20 to 55,”

Is it legal to discriminate based on race or national origin now?

It would seem to be a good move fot the Judge to revoke Walking Small's bail about now. Unfortunately, it won't happen.
