DrPeterVenkman (05/15/12) My wife worked for Ecolab since 04, & just now recently found a much better position. She was a Territory Manager, Yes, Imagine I female Territory Manager. In short, it was a NIGHTMARE. Ethics?... Ecolab does not possess these. They will expect you to be OnCall 24/7, The bonus structure is bogus, even the pay doesnt work out. My brother Is currently still employed with them & it is the same old song & dance. BTW he had the largest TM ditrict in all of Ecolab, would be driving 8+ hours a day. The mgmnt is lucky I didnt burn some of their houses down. Also, make a habit of recording conversations with mgmt as they will say many things to strong arm you, some of the stuff my brother tells me is, frankly unREAL! If you can afford to work elsewhere plz do. Cause in the years my wife worked for them, I never got to see her, & she was so unhappy. Do yourself a favor & find a job that pays the bills that will allows you to be with the ppl you love cause Ecolab is like taking on an adopted problematic child, you will have no extra time & very little extra money. My wife was spending near 1000$ a month just in Gas bout 550$ of that was coming straight out of our pocket. However in 04 the company was pretty kwl, her first boss was awesome. But after that it was just downhill fast. It soon became apparent that her being a woman was a problem with some ppl (boys club) especially when she was outselling most of them every year. Human Resources @ ecolab is a joke as well. Most the upper mgmt from Colorado=Huge Douche bags that will not hesitate to express their Mormon beliefs on you in a heartbeat. I hear ppl say how the USA is all PC now, not in Ecolab. You will excell fast if you are a White/Male/Close Minded.
