This past week, Taco Bell welcomed back the Double Steak Grilled Cheese Burrito and the Bacon Club Chalupa, as well as Blue Raspberry Breeze and Wild Cherry Freeze beverages that are described as a “mouth-watering tropical escape at a lower cost than a plane ticket,” according to a press release obtained by Today.
Two newcomers are also hitting the menu, but they won't be available in all locations.
The Cheesy Chicken Crispanada, a pastry shell full of shredded chicken and cheese with a side of spicy ranch, is available in Knoxville, Tennessee, for a limited time.
Meanwhile, Birmingham, Alabama residents will have the pleasure of getting their hands on $2 Double Stacked Tacos in several flavors: Nacho Crunch, Cheesy Chipotle and Sweet Scorpion.
The official quesarito departs the menu on April 19, so you still have a bit of time to spend with it, but Parade's got the perfect recipe to make yourself a version at home. Still, if we're lucky, and if fans rally loudly enough, maybe they'll give it the Mexican Pizza treatment with a quick revival.
“Taco Bell is nothing without those who share their passion for the brand," Matt Prince, a Taco Bell spokesperson, recently told Today. "And, if this past year was any indication, anything is possible when you mix devoted fandom with beloved products.”
