NOTICE OF SALE UNDER POWER GEORGIA, CLAYTON COUNTY By virtue of the Power of Sale contained in the Security Deed ("Security Deed") from Rhonda S. Worthington ("Grantor") to Delta Employees Credit Union n/k/a Delta Community Credit Union ("Grantee"), dated December 21, 2000, recorded December 29, 2000 in Deed Book 4672, Page 5, Clayton County, Georgia Records, said Security Deed being given to secure a Note of even date in the original principal amount of Eighty Thousand Eight Hundred and 00/100 Dollars ($80,800.00), with interest from date at the rate as provided therein on the unpaid balance until paid; there will be sold by the undersigned at public outcry to the highest bidder for cash before the Courthouse door at Clayton County, Georgia, within the legal hours of sale on the first Tuesday in November, 2019. All that tract or parcel of land lying and being in Land Lots 138 and 139 of the 12th District of Clayton County, Georgia, as shown on survey prepared for Robert and Rhonda Worthington, dated August 16, 1985, by Lewis Hurd, Registered Land Surveyor, and being more particularly described as follows: Beginning at a point 372.84 feet along the Northerly right-of-way of Dease Road (said road having a 50-foot right-of-way) from the intersection of the Northerly right-of-way of Dease Road with the Easterly right-of-way of State Route 42 (said road having an 80-foot right-of-way), to the point of beginning. Thence North 44 degrees 19 minutes 29 seconds West a distance of 207.83 feet to an iron pin set; thence North 51 degrees 29 minutes 01 second East a distance of 88.29 feet to an iron pin set; thence Southeasterly along the path of Old Rex Road (a private drive) as follows, South 44 degrees 00 minutes 48 seconds East a distance of 16 feet to an iron pin set; thence South 60 degrees 16 minutes 49 seconds East a distance of 157.04 feet to an iron pin set; thence South 70 degrees 44 minutes 33 seconds East a distance of 65.48 feet to an iron pin set; thence South 53 degrees 40 minutes 40 seconds East a distance of 11.41 feet to an iron pin set at the intersection of Old Rex Road (a private drive) and the Northerly right-of-way of Dense Road; thence South 61 degrees 34 minutes 07 seconds West a distance of 93.60 feet along the Northerly right-of-way of Dease Road to an iron pin set; thence South 55 degrees 26 minutes 04 seconds West a distance of 72.95 feet along the Northerly right-of-way of Dease Road to the Point of Beginning. This being improved property with a one-story frame house located thereon, being improved property known as 2987 Rex Road, Rex, Georgia 30273 according to the present system of numbering in Clayton County, Georgia. The debt secured by the Security Deed has been and is hereby declared due because of, among other possible events of default, failure to comply with the terms of the Note. The debt remaining in default, this sale will be made for the purpose of paying the same and all expenses of this sale, including attorneys' fees. To the best knowledge and belief of Grantee, the above described property is in the possession of Rhonda S.
