ATLANTA — MARTA is bringing Breeze pop-up locations to Clayton County through the end of 2019.
Once a month, the pop-ups will appear in a different location on bus lines around the county. The pop-ups will make it more convenient for riders to reload Breeze cards and buy tickets without having to wait or to ride to a station inside the Perimeter.
That’s of special interest to seniors, people with disabilities or anyone who depends on the bus to get around metro Atlanta.
What’s more, people who are eligible for reduced-rate fares usually have to go to one of two locations to get their applications. The pop-up locations will bring that paperwork right to Clayton County.
Be sure to bring a current valid photo ID and proof of eligibility if you’re applying for a reduced rate card.
The pop-up offices will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. once a month through December.
Here’s a list of dates, locations and which bus line is closest to each:
Sept. 26: Headquarters Library, 865 Battlecreek Road, Jonesboro (Route 193 — Morrow-Jonesboro)
Oct. 24: J. Charley Griswell Senior Center, 2300 Ga. Highway 138 SE, Jonesboro (no bus route)
All locations will offer Reduced Fare cards, Silver Breeze cards, Breeze tickets, mobility applications and scheduling and route information.
