Observations and corrections
PIC did not have verification that food employees are informed in a verifiable manner of their responsibility to report in accordance with the Chapter to the person in charge. CA: PIC was advised to keep employee health forms in facility. New Violation.
Observed food establishment not have procedures for employees to follow when responding to vomiting or diarrheal events that involve the discharge of vomitus or fecal matter. Facility did not have EPA registered disinfectant. CA: PIC was advised to have procedures and an EPA registered disinfectant against norovirus. (Repeat) Repeat Violation.
Observed numerous of gnats in main kitchen. CA: PIC was advised the presence of insects, rodents, and other pests shall be controlled to minimize their presence on the premises by: 1. Routinely inspecting incoming shipments of food samples; 2. Routinely inspecting the premises for evidence of pests; and 3. Using methods, if pests are found, such as trapping devices or other means of pests control as specified under subsections (6) (e) , and (6) (n) of this Rule; New Violation.
