First responders across Clayton County remembered their fallen brothers and sisters of Sept. 11, 2001. Some went big, climbing 1,362 stairs up in full battle gear. Others reflected quietly at the beginning of their usual shift on what had been the beginning of others' usual shifts. The News joins them in saluting all those who ran towards danger.
