Once you come and pick out your new pet, there is a small application that you will complete. Once the paperwork is complete, there is an adoption fee.
Below are the fees for adoption:
Dogs: $95, which includes- Spay/Neuter, Rabies Vaccination, and Microchip (A Heartworm test can be added for an additional $25 with a six month written prescription for heartworm preventative – to be filled by the citizen)
Cats: $65, which includes- Spay/Neuter, Rabies vaccination, and Microchip.
As of March 10, Clayton County Animal Control is currently enforcing social distancing practices. All visitors will be kept at a 6 foot distance. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be brought and worn while interacting with staff. Only one visitor will be allowed in the facility at a time. They will be escorted through our side gate and enter directly into our kennel where a shoe bath for sanitation purposes will be provided.
No visitors will be allowed through our main entrance at this time. It is recommended that visitors already know the name and intake number of the animal they are interested in.
