Alejandro Rosales Castillo, 20, of North Carolina, is wanted for murdering his former girlfriend in 2016 when he was a teenager.
The FBI is offering a reward of up to $100,000 for information leading directly to the arrest of Castillo, who is wanted by the FBI for Unlawful Flight to Avoid Prosecution.
Castillo’s charges stem from his alleged involvement in the murder of a co-worker in Charlotte, N.C. The female victim’s vehicle was located at a bus station in Phoenix, Arizona, on Aug. 15, 2016. On Aug. 17, 2016, the victim’s body was located in a wooded area in Cabarrus County, N.C., with a gunshot wound to the head.
A native of Arizona, Castillo is a white Hispanic male who has black hair and brown eyes. He is 5 feet 6 and weighs 180-190 pounds. He may be wearing his hair short and shaved on the sides.
Castillo's last known residence was in Charlotte, and he has ties to Phoenix, Ariz. He was seen crossing into Mexico and may reside in San Francisco de los Romo, Aguascalientes, or Pabellón de Arteaga, Aguascalientes. He also may have traveled to the Mexican states of Guanajuato or Veracruz.
Aliases he has used include Alexandro Castillo, Alex Castillo, Alejandro Rosales, Alejandro Castillo, Alejandro Rosales-Castillo and Alejandro Rosalescastillo.
FBI officials say he should be considered armed and dangerous, as well as possessing violent tendencies and being an escape risk.
