JONESBORO — Three alleged members of the Brim Bloods gang are being held in the Clayton County Jail following their arrest on weapons charges Saturday.

Georgia Bureau of Investigation agents and Clayton County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Jahsiah James Lee, 23, of Hampton; Eric Xavier “Slimecito” Claros, 25, of Locust Grove; and Houston Thomas Glasco, 26, of Riverdale.

Glasco faces 10 counts of participation in gang activity, as well as felony evidence tampering, possession of a weapon during a crime and violation of the Georgia Controlled Substance Act. He was granted $24,000 bond and $3,000 in fees on the last three charges but no bond on the gang charges.

Lee is charged with nine counts of participation in gang activity, weapons possession during a crime and violation of the Georgia Controlled Substances Act. He also was denied bond on the gang charges but granted $50,000 bond and $5,400 in fees on the other two charges.

Claros also faces nine counts of participation in gang activity, as well as driver’s vision obstructed, weapons possession during a crime and violation of the Georgia Controlled Substances Act. He got $17,500 bond and $2,250 in fees on the non-gang charges.

According to the Clayton County Sheriff’s Office, the group was involved with trying to buy firearms from a pawn shop.
