JONESBORO — Clayton County Public Schools is hosting a Job Fair next week.

The district is in search of paraprofessionals and employees for the classified department. The fair will be on July 22 from 9 a.m. to noon at Mundy’s Mill High School, 9652 Fayetteville Road in Jonesboro.

Positions in need of filling include:

♦ Paraprofessionals

♦ Nutrition workers

♦ Cafeteria monitors

♦ Custodians

♦ Maintenance grounds workers and HVAC workers

♦ Bus drivers and monitors

♦ Health care technicians

♦ Registered nurses

♦ School resource officers

Paraprofessional entry eligibility includes:

♦ Sixty semester hours or 90 quarter hours with a C grade or better on college course work; or

♦ Associate degree or higher from an accredited college or university; or

♦ Passing scores on the paraprofessional GACE assessment and high school transcript, high school diploma or GED.

Attendees who are interested in a paraprofessional position must provide an unofficial transcript to verify credit hours and course work for entry. Interview will be conducted on site.
