ATLANTA — State Rep. Mike Glanton, D-Jonesboro, in partnership with the Beauty Master Foundation, announced new scholarship opportunities for high school seniors.

Scholarships are open to students who attend Clayton County Public Schools, Atlanta or Fulton County schools and current college freshmen who attend Clayton State University and graduated from CCPS.

“Today, we are proud to announce more than $30,000 in scholarship opportunities, which is made possible by the generous support and contributions of the Beauty Master Foundation,“ said Rep. Glanton. “These contributions are a testament to Beauty Master Foundation’s dedication and support for our students, schools and our communities. Our desire is to help ensure that every child has an opportunity to receive a quality education and educational experience with limited financial obstacles.“

The Beauty Master Foundation will award 30 college-bound students with $1,000 scholarships, which totals $30,000 in awards. To be eligible for a Beauty Master Foundation scholarship, students must have a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 2.5 or greater.
