JONESBORO — The nonprofit organization Community Outreach is Action is hosting a free food giveaway Saturday morning for the county’s senior citizens.

Residents ages 65 and older can receive items like tissue paper, paper towels, fresh vegetables and meats. Residents are required to show proof of Clayton County residency and proof of income like a pay stub or Social Security income.

Those who wish to attend are asked to call 678-756-8810 to receive a designated time to pick up food.

Pickups will be at 7810 Southlake Pkwy. in Jonesboro, across from Jonesboro High School.
