Clayton PD issue Mattie’s Call for Riverdale woman

On June 6 a Mattie’s Call was issued for Adaline Smith after she was reported missing by staff at her group home which is in the Holly Tree Apartments (5930 Hwy 85, Riverdale, GA). Smith is a resident at the location due to her diagnosis of schizophrenia and was last seen at approximately 8 a.m. on June 5 when she left without being discharged. Adaline Smith is described as a 62-year-old black female who is five feet four inches tall, weighs 175 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes. (No clothing description was provided.) RIVERDALE — One week after Clayton County Police issued a Mattie’s Call, 62-year-old Adaline Smith of Riverdale is still missing as of press time.

Smith is an African-American female, 5 feet, 2 inches tall, weighing 175 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. Smith is diagnosed with schizophrenia. Police say they don’t have any description of what Smith was wearing when she disappeared about 8 a.m. Tuesday, June 5.

That’s the last time that group home staff saw her at the Holly Tree Apartments, 5930 Ga. Highway 85 in Riverdale. Staff say Smith left without being discharged.

Police ask that anyone with information about Smith’s whereabouts call 911 or Detective T. Moore at (770) 477-3641.
