Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms held a news conference Tuesday to discuss how the city is making safety preparations for Super Bowl LIII. Mayor Bottoms was joined by members of the Public Safety Executive Steering Committee for the Super Bowl.
The full-scale exercise, taking place at MARTA’s Dome Station (which services Mercedes-Benz Stadium and State Farm Arena), will simulate a crisis scenario complete with explosions, smoke and actors to help create a realistic setting for first responders.
