JONESBORO — Before the 2019-20 school year can begin for some students, they’ll need to be registered to attend classes in the district.

To help fill the open positions, the district is hosting a hiring event on Nov. 11 from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Clayton State University Student Center, 2000 Clayton State Blvd. in Morrow.


On-site interviews will be conducted. Applicants may also bring resume, teaching certification, college, college transcripts and certificate of eligibility for out-of-state applicants or letter from college verifying certification program.

Parents or guardians will need several documents including proof of residency, birth certificate, social security card, immunization proof, transcript/report card with grade placement and disciplinary transcript, grades 7-12.
