JONESBORO - The Mundy's Mill Tigers couldn't pull out a surprise victory Friday night as the Tucker Tigers walked away with a 44-20 victory.

However, that's just half of the story from Friday night. With a team battling injuries a number of new players were on the field or in positions they weren't too familiar with.

"We are battling through injuries having several starters on both sides out," Mundy's Mill head coach Dwayne Davis said. "Tonight Tucker capitalized on three first half passes for touchdowns that set the tone for them early."

The Tigers fought back in the second half according to Davis as they caused a few fumbles and allowed their offense to score.

"The margin was to large to overcome allowing with playing a second half running clock," Davis said.

The Tigers dropped to 2-3, 0-3 on the season following the loss.
